COVID-19 UPDATE

Community Culture Church will be adhering to physical distancing and sanitation recommendations, as well as implementing the following directives as recommended by our Overseers and COVID Task Force, for the safety of our community.

As of May 2021, we are updating our mask policy to recommend face coverings for our 9am service. While we encourage the use of facial coverings, they will no longer be a requirement. Precautions we are still implementing are as follows:

  • Families may sit (stand) together; however, others attending should maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet.
  • Seating will be restricted to every other pew or even every third row of seats to maintain the proper space for physical distancing.
  • Maximum attendance should be determined according to the available square footage available for attendees.
  • Face masks and sanitizers will be available for attendees.

It is recommended, and we agree, that the Church should follow all guidelines for the safety of our communities.  Jesus’ mandate to love your neighbor as yourself applies.  Many of our church family may not be susceptible to this pandemic.  However, social distancing and proper personal protection helps protect the most vulnerable and demonstrates our love for others.

Community Culture Church, as recommended by our Overseers, our district affiliations, as well as our partnership with the Assemblies of God and ARC churches, will be taking further steps, as listed in the points below:

  • Communicate with our local city and/or county officials to ascertain whether there are additional restrictions for your specific location.
  • Online ministries and social media activities are encouraged to continue.
  • It is recommended that churches provide multiple service times to reduce the number of people in the building at one time.
  • Churches with multiple services should give ample time between services of thorough sanitization and cleaning.
  • Restrooms should be disinfected often, and use limited to only one person at a time.
  • Churches should not pass out printed programs and/or bulletins.
  • Communion may be served only if it is prepackaged and distributed in a no-contact method.
  • Offering receptacles should be placed at the exits of the worship center – not to be passed from person to person.
  • Multiple hand sanitizer stations throughout the building.
  • Signage should be in place that encourages hand hygiene and proper distancing.

We are offering and adhering to all the suggestions given. You can trust that all our efforts are to provide a safe and encouraging place we can worship together!
